I want to say Thanks again for such a wonderful trip. You both are great hosts and my trip to Cozy Camp was by far the most fun of 8 trips for me to Canada. So fun in fact that I want to come back. A couple of our group have cancelled out for next year to take other family vacations, but there are enough of us left that are sure we will find some replacements. We really enjoyed the cabin we had, especially the camp cook (my dad) who loved the kitchen. So if we can have the same cabin for next year as well as for the same week, we would like to book again for 6 people. Let me know if that cabin for that week is still available and if so, we will be back. That is, if you will have us??

Hi Dan & Anne,

I've been meaning to send this for awhile (we were there the first week of August). I just wanted to tell you guys again that we had a great time at Cozy Camp. Members of the Miller family have been coming to Canada fishing for over 40 years and many commented that this was their best trip ever. You guys were excellent hosts, had nice accommodations and equipment and gave reliable advice on where and how to catch fish. We didn't come away with a lot of trophy size fish, but we caught a lot of fish, ate a lot of fish that were mighty good and just had a great time. We don't come every year usually, but you can expect to hear from us again in a couple of years when we decide to come back up your way for another week of great fishing.

Our family spent a week at Cozy Camp in August on 2005. Dan, Ann, and Sam welcomed us and gave us the lowdown on all the "hot spots" for walleyes. After a 13 hour drive, we quickly unpacked and couldn't wait to try out our luck. We couldn't believe the walleye (and northerns) we caught in just a few hours! Boy, did they sure taste good! The next few days were in the 90's and fishing was just as good, with us catching our limit of walleyes everyday. Fishing sure isn't like this at home! We're lucky if we catch one walleye in a day...Besides the abundance of walleyes, the boys had fun with the northerns and Mike caught a 37" northern! (see pictures) Bryan caught a nice smallmouth bass, that we are waiting to get back from the taxidermy. Dan took time from his busy day and showed us some more "hot spots" and also a beach for the kids. It was a welcome relief from the heat! Our cabins were well equiped, clean and quait, with lots of space! In the middle of the week, Dan and Ann threw a cook out with all the walleyes that we could want. We loved our week so much, along with the great hospitality from Dan, Ann and Sam, that we've booked for next year. We can hardly wait! If you visit, make sure you save some walleyes for us! Subject: Your gracious hospitality

Thanks to both of you for your many acts of kindness and service to all the members of my "family"! Everyone had a great time and caught lots of fish. I even had a 25 inch walleye, among others of various sizes, plus several northerns around 30+ inches. It was a very memorable trip for me for many reasons, as everyone "looked out" for me. Thanks for the attractive mug, as it will be a functional memento.
