Cozy Camp is surrounded by Moose. We have an excellent population in the area due to our terrain being perfect habitat for Moose.There are numerous bush roads to get you to a hot hunting spot, as well as many clear cuts ranging from one to six years old. You can also hunt the river or many smaller lakes in the area. The opportunities are endless.The average size racks on bulls in our area are 40" to 50" but bigger Moose in the 56" to 58" inch range are harvested.

We do not have non-resident tags at this time. We can accommodate resident hunters who have their own moose tags. Our hunt takes place mainly in WMU 15A.

We will assist with retrieval and field dressing for a fee. Guide service is also available. There is a local butcher in Ignace that is experienced in processing wild game. Please contact us for details.
