The whole corridor that runs from Ignace, through Dryden and out to Vermilion Bay is called the Buck Belt. This area may have the best Whitetail Deer hunting in the world and is also the location of the Ontario Record, which has become known as the Dryden Buck. The Dryden buck almost beat Milo Hansen's world record Whitetail.

Cozy Camp does not have an organized Whitetail Deer hunt at this time and can not issue Whitetail Buck tags. We do offer warm accommodations to deer hunters that have obtained their own buck tags.
